West Ham United have reportedly made one final effort to agree a new contract with defender Jeremy Ngakia.
Despite making the breakthrough into the first-team setup, the academy graduate is currently showing an unwillingness to pen fresh terms at the London Stadium.
With a deal needing to be finalised by Tuesday, it is expected that the 19-year-old will become a free agent at the end of the month.
However, according to the Evening Standard, the Hammers remain keen to tie the prospect down to a long-term contract.
The report suggests that Ngakia has, so far, rejected terms on £5,000 per week, leading to club officials to reassess their position.
Ngakia has made five starts in the Premier League, including most recently against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday evening.
