West Ham United have reportedly turned to Espanyol ace Borja Iglesias in their search for a new striker.
The Hammers sanctioned Marko Arnautovic's exit in the week and are now in need of a replacement or two before the new campaign begins.
After failing to persuade Celta Vigo's Maxi Gomez to choose them over Valencia, Marca claims that West Ham are now looking to snap up Iglesias.
The report indicates that Everton were prepared to pay the 26-year-old's release clause in January, but he wanted to see out the rest of the season at Espanyol.
West Ham may also face competition from Real Betis, who are prepared to go as high as £27m with their offer.
Iglesias scored 17 goals in La Liga last season and set up a further three goals.
