West Ham United are understood to be monitoring Grasshopper Zurich youngster Izet Hajrovic.
The Swiss Under-21 international, 21, has also attracted interest from Lazio and Kaiserslautern.
The Hammers have sent scouts to watch the midfielder in the hope of putting in a bid, according to The Mirror.
Hajrovic signed his first professional deal with Grasshoppers in 2009 following a nine-year spell in the club's youth academy.
