West Ham United have been given hope in their pursuit of Joao Mario as the Inter Milan midfielder is reportedly willing to join the club on loan.
The Portugal international, used sparingly by the Nerazzurri so far this season, had initially ruled out a switch to the East London outfit.
According to Sky Sport Italia, however, Mario is now "open-minded" about swapping San Siro for the London Stadium, with a loan deal being touted.
Since arriving at Inter in the summer of 2016 for a sum of £40m, the 24-year-old has made 44 Serie A appearances, just five of which have come via starts this term.
Paris Saint-Germain were also recently tipped to make a move for Mario, as were Manchester United, but no offers have been forthcoming.
