Both West Ham United and Southampton reportedly want to sign Andros Townsend from Newcastle United if the Magpies are relegated from the Premier League this month.
England international Townsend only joined Newcastle from Tottenham Hotspur for £12m in January, but there is said to be clause in his contract that allows him to leave for £8m if the North-East outfit go down.
According to The Telegraph, top-half sides West Ham and Southampton have both previously expressed an interest in signing the winger and view this summer as a good opportunity to try again should Newcastle fail to beat the drop.
Townsend has been in good form for Newcastle in recent weeks, scoring four goals since his winter window move and helping the Magpies up out of the bottom three.
Newcastle are a point clear of North-East rivals Sunderland and two above Norwich City below them, but both the Black Cats and Canaries do have games in hand on Rafael Benitez's men.
