West Ham United are said to be unwilling to sell midfielder Ravel Morrison for less than £10m.
The Hammers recently rejected a £5m offer from Fulham for the player's services, and are seeking at least double that amount for him, according to the Daily Star.
"He's an important member of the squad and we want to keep as many important members of the squad here as possible to try and help us move up the league," said West Ham assistant manager Neil McDonald.
"It's more hearsay that he is leaving. We have to act that he is here and going to stay here. All I can say is we want him here."
West Ham issued a complaint to the Premier League about Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen over comments he made regarding Morrison's proposed interest in a move to Craven Cottage.
