Joe Hart has said that he is "focused on West Ham United, not England" after giving Gareth Southgate a reminder of his goalkeeping ability.
The Manchester City loanee has fallen down the Three Lions' pecking order in recent months, seemingly finding himself behind Jack Butland and Jordan Pickford heading into the World Cup.
Hart did his hopes of inclusion for Russia 2018 no harm with his display against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, however, pulling off a string of saves to earn his side a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking to Sky Sports News after the match, the 30-year-old said: "I'm focused on West Ham, not England, that's my job. We are creating a good spirit in the team, we stick together and today was a good example of that.
"We are moving in the right direction but in this league you have a smile on your face one day and not the next. Stoke next Monday is our game of the season now."
West Ham boss David Moyes praised Hart for his performance in West London, which took United up to 34 points for the season.
