Wigan Athletic manager Owen Coyle is happy with his side's display in the Europa League this evening.
The Latics drew 1-1 with Rubin Kazan to remain unbeaten in Europe this season.
Nick Powell scored for the second successive European game after Wigan had gone behind early on.
"We knew they were a quality side and they showed that," said Coyle afterwards. "All credit to the lads, they stuck to their task and scored a great goal through Nick Powell.
"I think everything pleased me. I was certainly disappointed by the [Kazan] goal but we looked a threat all night.
"It puts us in a nice position and our destiny's in our own hands. That's what we want. If we go unbeaten over the next three games we should qualify."
Wigan's next game is away at Charlton Athletic on Sunday afternoon.
