Wigan Athletic's Shaun Maloney has claimed that it was a "dream come true" to score at Wembley Stadium following his side's FA Cup semi-final win over Millwall.
The Scottish midfielder gave the Latics a first-half lead before Callum McManaman netted after the break to seal their passage through to next month's final.
"I'm made up. It's a dream come true to play and score at Wembley," Maloney told BBC Sport.
"We expected Millwall to come at us, trying to get back into the game, but we got another goal and that was it. Once we broke them down it was our game and we controlled it."
Wigan will face either Manchester City or defending champions Chelsea in the FA Cup final on May 11.
