Wigan Athletic have failed to sell at least 10,000 of their tickets for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final against Millwall at Wembley.
Both clubs were given an allocation of 31,000 tickets for the encounter, with reports having suggested that Championship outfit Millwall have sold their entire share.
However, Wigan's unsuccessful bid to sell their tickets has resulted in the Football Association taking the unprecedented step of opening up a zone for neutral supporters.
The match will mark the first time that Wigan have reached the last four of the competition.
