Wigan Athletic and Huddersfield Town are playing out a goalless draw in this afternoon's Championship clash at the DW Stadium.
The game began at a fast pace, the visitors forcing a corner in the first two minutes and James McClean volleying over at the other end moments later.
In the ninth minute, the Terriers worked a clever free kick to create space for Nakhi Wells, but the former Bradford City man also fired over.
There was controversy just two minutes later as Wigan felt they should have been given a penalty when Leon Barnett appeared to have been brought down in the box, but the referee waved away the appeals.
Just after the quarter-hour mark, Huddersfield goalkeeper Alex Smithies saved Chris McCann's 20-yard effort after Tommy Smith blocked McClean's initial strike in the area.
In the latter stages of the half, the hosts had to clear two efforts off the line in relatively quick succession, from Wells and Mark Hudson.
