Summer signing Arouna Kone has revealed that he is enjoying the early days of his Wigan Athletic career.
The Ivorian striker joined the Latics this summer from Sevilla, where he suffered an injury-blighted five-year spell.
Kone netted his maiden Premier League goal in Wigan's 2-0 win over Southampton and has targeted more goals to reward his club and manager for overlooking his recent injury problems.
"I am settling very well at Wigan. Coach [Roberto] Martinez is very good and I love it there," he told Sky Sports.
"Hopefully I will reward the club for the trust they put in me with goals and performances to be proud of."
Kone made his return to international football after a four-year absence when he featured in Ivory Coast's 4-2 victory over Senegal on Saturday.
