Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez has admitted that he fears Stoke City's Peter Crouch ahead of their Premier League encounter on Saturday.
Crouch struck a wonderful volley against Manchester City last week, and Martinez believes that it might have earned him a spot in England's squad for Euro 2012.
"The goal was special. It showed he's in a great moment of form and confidence. It was real arrogance to have a shot from that area. He's a real threat and we have to be aware of that," Martinez said.
"He's a tall man with a great target man mentality but he's technically very, very gifted with his feet. He's probably thinking of the Euros and showing that level of form."
Wigan sit 19th in the Premier League table.
