Victor Moses has told Wigan Athletic that he will leave the club if they are relegated.
Last month, manager Roberto Martinez expressed his fears that the club might struggle to keep hold of the 21-year-old if they fail to stay in the Premier League.
The former Crystal Palace winger has now confirmed that he would not be prepared to play at the DW Stadium below the top flight.
"I believe Wigan will escape relegation," Moses told The Sun.
"But I don't think I would go down with them if the reverse is the case at the end of the season."
Moses has been a permanent fixture in the Wigan team this season, playing in all of the club's 27 league games so far.
