Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs has revealed that sorting out a new contract for Kevin de Bruyne is at the top of the club's to-do list.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, while French champions Paris Saint-Germain have also been registered with an interest.
However, his German club are hoping to fend off interest by offering the Belgium international, who was sold to Wolfsburg by Chelsea in 2014, a new deal.
"As soon as I'm back at the office, I will make an appointment with Kevin De Bruyne's agents," Allofs told Bild.
De Bruyne, whose current contract expires in 2019, scored 10 goals and made 20 assists in the Bundesliga in the 2014-15 season.
