Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs has insisted that the club is not interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
The Germany international is expected to leave Dortmund this summer after rejecting the chance to extend his stay at Signal Iduna Park beyond 2016.
When asked if Wolfsburg were among the clubs keen on signing the 24-year-old, Allofs told WAZ: "Gundogan is not an option at Wolfsburg."
Arsenal and Manchester United are both thought to be monitoring Gundogan, who joined Dortmund from Nuremberg in 2011.
