Kenny Jackett has conceded that Bakary Sako's involvement in the Africa Cup of Nations could lead to increased transfer interest from other clubs.
The French-born winger is part of Mali's 22-man squad for the tournament, which gets underway later this month.
However, the Wolverhampton Wanderers manager told the Birmingham Mail: "There's always speculation about Sako all of the time and he's a good player.
"Him going away, does it give him more profile or is it harder to get hold of him? It could work either way."
Sako joined Wolves from Saint-Etienne in 2012, and has scored seven goals in 24 appearances this season.
