Wolverhampton Wanderers have continued their winning streak by snatching a 4-0 Carling Cup victory against Northampton at Sixfields.
The away side assaulted the scoreboard twice within the space of five minutes just after the half-hour mark, with Kevin Foley assisting Sylvan Ebanks-Blake to score from the area. Nenad Milijas followed up with a successful strike from a free kick.
Ebanks-Blake struck again during the second half, finding his target with a header in the 77th minute, before Sam Vokes went on to round off the match with Wolves' fourth goal in the 88th.
Wolves, who have won their first two fixtures in the new Premier League campaign, will travel to Aston Villa on Saturday (August 27).
