How Wolverhampton Wanderers could line up against Crusaders

Ahead of Thursday's Europa League fixture between Crusaders and Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sports Mole predicts how the Premier League side could line up at Seaview.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head into the second leg of their Europa League tie with Crusaders having established a 2-0 advantage from last week's first leg at Molineux.

Despite being made to work hard for chances by the Northern Irish outfit, goals from Diogo Jota and Ruben Vinagre proved enough as Wolves earned a deserved win.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side make the trip to Belfast with one foot in the next round, although the Portuguese has a number of decisions to make regarding his starting lineup for Thursday's game.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at what players could feature at Seaview as both teams aim to earn a fixture against either FK Jablonec or FC Pyunik.

Out: Matt Doherty (knee), Jesus Vallejo (ineligible), Patrick Cutrone (ineligible)
Doubt: Ruben Neves (side)

Despite being cleared of any serious injury, Ruben Neves's spot in the starting lineup remains in doubt as a result of a side injury sustained last week.

Matt Doherty is still out of contention as he continues his recovery from a knee problem, while new additions Jesus Vallejo and Patrick Cutrone are ineligible for this game having signed for Wolves midway through the tie.

However, aware that some of his squad players require minutes on the pitch, Nuno could pick Vinagre over Adama Traore, with Jonny Otto switching to the right wing-back position.

Raul Jimenez is another potential inclusion having made an appearance in the second half during the first leg, just days after returning for pre-season training due to helping Mexico win the Gold Cup.

The forward may be given an hour, which could result in Morgan Gibbs-White dropping down to the substitutes' bench, but midfielder Romain Saiss may be given more time to ease his way back into action after playing for Morocco at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Providing that Nuno's side can enjoy a comfortable night, youngsters Max Kilman, Dion Sanderson and Taylor Perry could be in contention to gain some minutes during the closing stages.
