Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto is reportedly yet to enter the final stages of his rehabilitation from a knee injury.

The Portugal international limped off during the first half of the fixture at Fulham on April 9, Wolves later revealing that the player had sustained an injury to his knee cap.

The initial prognosis was that the 21-year-old would miss at least six months of action, the suggestion being that he could come back into contention during the back end of the autumn.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Neto is no closer to making a comeback to training or first-team football.

With Neto currently in Portugal, the report says that Wolves' club doctor is due to fly to the player's homeland to further assess the situation.

Neto had contributed five goals and six assists in last season's Premier League before his injury at Craven Cottage.
