Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Bruno Lage has lauded Raul Jimenez as a "top man" ahead of Saturday's showdown with Watford.
There were fears that the 30-year-old would not be available for the trip to Vicarage Road, with Wolves possibly being hit with a FIFA-imposed ban for refusing to release him for Mexico's World Cup qualifiers.
However, Lage has confirmed that a deal has been struck for Jimenez to feature this weekend, and the Wolves boss has expressed his delight at working with the striker.
Speaking to the press ahead of Saturday's game, Lage said: "As a person he is a top man. He is one of the good examples we have here, you can be a top player and a top man. He is the first guy to work to press the opponents and he creates a lot of chances."
Jimenez has played every minute of the 2021-22 Premier League season after recovering from his skull fracture, but he is still waiting for his first goal of the new league season.
