Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Scott Golbourne has admitted that he has welcomed the opportunity to play further forward for the League One club.
Golbourne recently signed for Wolves from Barnsley, and the left-sided player has revealed that head coach Kenny Jackett has encouraged him to divide his defensive duties with contributing in attacking areas.
The 25-year-old told the Express & Star: "The gaffer wants his full-backs to join in the attack and sometimes with the way we play, they are the main width in the team and are encouraged to get high up the pitch.
"You can be quite a force in the attack as well as having your defensive duties. It's good to get the opportunity to attack and get forward and put in crosses, so hopefully there might be one or two more goals during the course of the season."
The former Exeter City man netted his first goal for the club against Swindon Town earlier this month.
