Leigh Griffiths has revealed that he is keen to lead Scotland's attack against England at Wembley tomorrow evening.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers striker started his nation's last encounter against Croatia - a game that the Scots won 1-0.
"I was delighted to get called up. Playing for Scotland against England at Wembley is probably the biggest game Scotland could have," the Express & Star quotes the 22-year-old as saying.
"I started against Croatia and it would be great to keep my place but if not, I'll be happy to sit on the bench and hopefully get on and play my part.
"I was hoping Mr Strachan would have been there on Saturday but either way, he'll know I've scored two goals and hopefully I'll be in the team, but if not, I hope to play some part."
Griffiths has made two appearances for the Tartan Army at senior level.
