Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Tommy Rowe has said that he is reaping the benefits of returning fit for pre-season.
After signing from Peterborough United last summer, Rowe endured an injury-plagued first campaign at Molineux, but after making his second appearance of pre-season against Paris FC on Friday, the left-footed player is happy with his preparations so far.
The 26-year-old told the Express & Star: "It was a good game, very hot to play in, but enjoyable.
"I wanted to make sure I was fit this pre-season after getting injured last year and it's been good to get two games under my belt.
"It's been a fantastic week with some good training and we'll take the positives from it and move on for the rest of pre-season."
Rowe played just 14 times in the Championship last season.
