Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Bakary Sako believes that he can develop his game by playing international football for Mali.
Sako has been included in Mali's squad for their friendly with Senegal, and the former Saint-Etienne midfielder is looking forward to his first experience of senior international football.
The 25-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "I'm very pleased to have received the call-up and I am looking forward to joining up with the squad next week.
"If I'm involved, it would be my first experience of senior international football which would be a good experience and a benefit to my game."
Sako has scored eight times for Wolves in League One during the current campaign.
