Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a successful £7m offer for Roger Johnson.
The Birmingham City defender’s exit had been expected following the Blues’ relegation earlier this year. Liverpool and Spurs had also shown an interest in the player.
The 28-year-old is thought to be meeting with Wolves today following the clubs’ agreement, according to the Express & Star.
Johnson joined Birmingham from Cardiff City in 2009 for £5m, since which he has scored three goals in 88 appearances. He has a year to run on his current contract.
