Wolverhampton Wanderers will be looking to avoid their worst goal drought for 18 years when they face Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday evening.

Wolverhampton Wanderers will be looking to end their lengthy wait for another goal when they face Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday evening.

Having collected 21 points from his first 16 Premier League games in charge, Bruno Lage can be relatively content with Wolves' start to the campaign.

However, as well as suffering successive 1-0 defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City respectively, Wolves have failed to score in four games.

Should they fail to find the back of the net at the Amex Stadium, Wolves would have endured their worst scoring run for 18 years.

The last time that they failed to net in five league matches came at the start of the 2002-03 campaign, which was their first back in the top flight for 20 years.

On that occasion, the West Midlands outfit failed to score against Charlton Athletic, Manchester United, Portsmouth, Southampton and Chelsea respectively. body check tags ::
