Sports Mole previews the match at Molineux between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sheffield Wednesday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett will be aware that three points against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday evening could prove decisive as they target a playoff place.

The Molineux outfit have occupied a spot just below the top six for much of 2015, but Saturday's 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion has taken the club to within three points of Brentford.

Wolves have endured a testing run of fixtures in recent weeks which has seen striker Nouha Dicko drop out of the team to accommodate another midfielder and allow Benik Afobe to take the lone role in attack.

However, Dicko, who has netted 10 goals in all competitions this season, looks likely to be recalled in place of James Henry.

Sheffield Wednesday head into the game with the target of securing another win that would improve their chances of a top-10 finish at the end of the campaign.

The Owls have put together some excellent results of late, including a 2-0 triumph over Middlesbrough, but a top-10 place by May 2 would represent a good achievement from Stuart Gray's side.

However, Gray has injury concerns ahead of the trip to the West Midlands, with Liam Palmer and Will Keane expected to miss out after suffering injuries against Fulham on Saturday.

Defender Marnick Vermijl and striker Stevie May are likely to be the players recalled to the starting lineup.
