An equaliser from Tyrone Barnett has earned Shrewsbury Town a 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Wolves needed just 10 minutes to take the lead at the Greenhous Meadow, with Kevin McDonald crossing for Nouha Dicko to head home from close range.
Shrewsbury almost equalised moments later through Liam McAlinden, who is loan from Wolves, but the forward saw Carl Ikeme make an intervention from close range.
However, the League One outfit did get back on level terms with 11 minutes remaining in the first half when Barnett rose highest to powerfully head home from a corner.
Shortly after the restart, David Edwards almost regained the lead for Wolves but his overhead kick struck the underside of the crossbar.
Wolves dominated the following 20 minutes but it took a tremendous save from goalkeeper Aaron McCarey to deny Shrewsbury's James Collins.
Ryan Woods also came agonisingly close to netting a winner for the Shrews but his long-range strike cannoned off the crossbar as Wolves held on for a draw.
