Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Benik Afobe has revealed that he takes any interest from other clubs as a compliment.
Afobe is expected to attract a number of bids for his signature when the transfer window opens in January, but the former Arsenal forward has said that he has learned from the attention he received during the summer.
The 22-year-old told the Express & Star: "I'll never let anything affect me or my teammates of the club.
"In the summer it was strange, I've never had it in my career before. You turn on Sky Sports and see your name on breaking news and you've got a game to play the next day, it is difficult when it's the first time.
"But I think I'm going to be more experienced when it comes to January now – it definitely won't affect me. It's a compliment if a team from a higher division is even just inquiring about you."
Afobe has scored 21 goals in 40 appearances since joining Wolves at the start of 2015.
