Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has revealed that striker Kevin Doyle could still join Colorado Rapids, despite returning to training with the Championship club on Thursday.
Doyle has been in discussions with the MLS side regarding a permanent switch, but despite the forward returning to the West Midlands, Jackett has insisted that a potential move remains alive.
The 53-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "He trained on Thursday with us and talks are ongoing between the clubs, the player and his agent.
"Everyone will want the best for themselves and finding some common ground between the three is what's going on at the moment. If he goes it will be a permanent deal."
Doyle hasn't made a first-team appearance for Wolves for over a year.
