Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced that they have signed striker Grant Holt on an emergency loan from Wigan Athletic.
The 34-year-old, who has previously had spells with Norwich City, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest, has featured just five times for the League One side this season, and has not scored since November 2014.
Head coach Kenny Jackett told the club's website: "We are delighted to bring Grant to the club. He increases out options up front and in terms of recognised strikers we now have [Benik] Afobe, [Adam] Le Fondre and Grant Holt as a complement.
"For Grant it is a chance and an opportunity to be back in the Championship which I am sure he will be determined to take. He will strengthen our front line and bring some competition and some experience which we have needed if you look at our games recently."
Holt will be available for Wolves' match against Birmingham City in the Championship tomorrow.
