Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has hinted that Leigh Griffiths will have to work hard to earn a new contract with the club.
The 22-year-old striker could leave Molineux for free next summer when his current deal expires.
When asked about the player's situation, Jackett told the Shropshire Star: "We haven't been working together for very long and he's been out on loan for a long time, so it's early days.
"But first impressions are very good, so of course we will look at it."
Griffiths scored 28 goals while on loan at Scottish Premier League side Hibernian last season.
