Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo has revealed that he is "confident" Ruben Neves will still be with the club beyond the end of this summer's transfer window.
Neves was outstanding in Wolves' Championship title-winning 2017-18 campaign, and the £16m signing from Porto last summer has been linked with a number of clubs in recent weeks.
Liverpool and AC Milan are both believed to be in the hunt, while Manchester United have previously been credited with an interest in the Portugal international.
Nuno, however, has said that he knows "what is important" for Neves, and has played down suggestions that the 21-year-old could move on ahead of the 2018-19 season.
"I am confident because I know Ruben and what is important for Ruben," Nuno told reporters. "I know what Ruben wants and what Ruben needs as a player."
Neves, who scored six times in 46 Championship appearances for Wolves during the 2017-18 campaign, recently revealed that he was "really happy" at Molineux.
