Interim manager Terry Connor has no intention of allowing Roger Johnson to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers on a loan basis.
The defender's future at Molineux had been called into question after he was fined by the club for turning up to training worse for wear.
However, Connor has insisted that Johnson is going nowhere between now and the end of the season.
"He's not spoken to me about it and he hasn't spoken to Jez [Moxey, chief executive] about it, so he hasn't asked," Connor told reporters.
"I'm happy to put that one to bed."
Johnson joined Wolves in the summer from Birmingham City.
