Sunderland forward Joel Asoro has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Black Cats have endured a miserable season in the Championship, but Asoro has been one of the few positives for the North-East outfit having made 26 outings in the second tier.
However, the 19-year-old has just a year remaining on his contract and reports have previously suggested that Newcastle United are taking an interest in the attacker.
According to the Daily Star, the same can be said of Wolves, with Asoro having impressed against the Championship winners on the final day of the campaign.
Sunderland must attempt to agree a long-term deal with Asoro or face the prospect of selling the player ahead of their campaign in League One.
