Wolverhampton Wanderers are allegedly plotting an ambitious summer swoop for Colombia international Juan Quintero.
The playmaker's parent club is Porto but he has spent the last three years out on loan at Rennes, Independiente Medellín and most recently River Plate.
According to The Mirror, Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is planning to use connections at former club Porto to kickstart negotiations.
Influential agent Jorge Mendes, who has ties with the club's owners Fosun, is also said to be working behind the scenes to open talks on the Premier League newcomers' behalf.
Quintero, who is expected to start in Colombia's World Cup last-16 clash with England, was previously linked with Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur.
