Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly contacted Burnley regarding the availability of defender James Tarkowski.
Fresh off the back of achieving a seventh-place finish in the Premier League, Wolves are attempting to further strengthen their squad in a bid to move closer to the established top six in the standings.
Nuno Espirito Santo showed a preference to keep a settled backline last season, which saw captain Conor Coady play every minute of the club's 38 top-flight fixtures.
However, according to The Times, Wolves are interested in adding England international Tarkowski to their ranks in the coming months.
Burnley will be eager to keep hold of one of their key men, who still has three years remaining on his contract at Turf Moor.
Leicester City have also allegedly identified Tarkowski as a potential addition due to frequent speculation regarding the future of Harry Maguire.
