Rubin Kazan forward Sardar Azmoun has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Azmoun - who has previously been described as the 'Iranian Lionel Messi' - has long been on the radar of a number of top European clubs, having established himself as a regular for the Russian giants.
The 24-year-old has contributed four goals and four assists from 14 outings this season, and according to reports in Russia, that has led to interest from the Premier League side.
Wolves are known to be keen to bring in a new frontman before Thursday's deadline, and Azmoun - given his age, potential and international experience - could potentially fit the bill.
Azmoun also has less than 18 months remaining on his contract, leaving Rubin with a decision to make regarding the player's future.
Zenit St Petersburg, Bayer Leverkusen and Club Brugge have also been linked with an approach.
