Scotland manager Craig Levein has claimed that his side still have a good chance of qualifying for the World Cup despite a second home draw in four days.

Macedonia recorded a surprise 1-1 draw at Hampden Park on Tuesday night, a result that leaves Scotland with two points from their opening two games.

However, Levein is still confident that the team will improve despite being booed after the final whistle by the home fans in Glasgow.

"I look at the league table and we're two points off the top. I'm disappointed but not disheartened," Levein said. "The pressure is nothing compared to what I put on myself. I want to get Scotland to a major tournament, we can do better and I want us to do better in the next match.

"Every team can take points off of each other but we're still hanging in there. It's about being positive and looking forward to the next game."
