Wycombe Wanderers could potentially climb to the top of the League One table with a victory on Tuesday when they host Ipswich Town at Adams Park Stadium.
The visitors had their five-match unbeaten run ended at the weekend by Plymouth Argyle and they shall be keen to get straight back to winning ways.
Match preview
Wycombe Wanderers find themselves in third place at the moment and as they trail table-toppers Plymouth by just two points, Tuesday will offer them the potential to climb to the top of the division.
However, Gareth Ainsworth will want to see an improvement from his squad after the weekend saw them involved in a six-goal thriller that led to a draw against Fleetwood Town.
They had fought back from going behind in the fifth minute and goals from Brandon Hanlan, Adebayo Akinfenwa and Sam Vokes then gave them a 3-1 lead, which the Chairboys ended up throwing away.
Wycombe are enjoying a five-game unbeaten run at the moment, though, and they have only been defeated in the league twice this season, providing plenty of confidence to the club.
Ainsworth is attempting to guide them back to the Championship immediately and with three clean sheets across their current period of form, they have showcased a defensive strength.
That defending will be tested on Tuesday, though, when they face Ipswich Town, who have scored more than any other team in the league this season with 30 goals.
While Paul Cook's team found the back of the net on Saturday to take the lead in the 14th minute via George Edmundson, they were unable to hang on throughout the game.
Plymouth eventually fought back to win 2-1, which brought the four-game unbeaten run of the Tractor Boys to an end, that they will now be hoping to get back to on Tuesday.
Ipswich were only five points away from the playoffs last season and they now hope to go one step further this year and push for a place in the Championship.
At the moment, Cook's squad find themselves seven points off the top six, which is something they will need to shrink sooner rather than later.

Team News
Wycombe were without their leading goalscorer Garath McCleary at the weekend due to a shoulder injury and he will once again be a doubt for Tuesday night.
This could provide another opportunity for experienced striker Akinfenwa who will be fresh from the confidence of scoring against Fleetwood.
Ipswich Town have several injuries at the moment as they are missing Tom Carroll due to a hip issue, with both Janoi Donacien and Wes Burns missing out on Saturday due to illness.
However, the club were able to welcome Hayden Coulson back from a thigh problem, while Luke Woolfenden was also brought back into the starting XI.
Wycombe Wanderers possible starting lineup:
Stockdale; Grimmer, Stewart, Tafazolli, Jacobson; Vokes, Scowen, Thompson, Horgan; Akinfenwa, Hanlan
Ipswich Town possible starting lineup:
Walton; Penney, Edmundson, Nsiala, Woolfenden; Morsy, Evans; Edwards, Chaplin, Coulson; Bonne
We say: Wycombe Wanderers 2-1 Ipswich Town
This is sure to be a closely-fought encounter between two teams that are looking to be involved in a promotion battle this season, but the hosts should have enough quality to see the game through.
Wycombe will be tested at the back due to the attacking options that Ipswich provide, yet with the Chairboys having the possibility of sitting at the top of the league after the game, they should push to get the victory.
