Wycombe Wanderers and Northampton Town have played out a 1-1 draw in their crunch relegation League Two clash.
The visitors started the game well as they took the lead when Ricky Ravenhill lifted a cross into the area, and Wycombe keeper Matt Ingram dropped the cross into his own net under pressure from Emile Sinclair.
However, Wanderers responded as they drew level in the 18th minute, when Aaron Pierre rose highest in the penalty area to head Matt Bloomfield's free kick past Matt Duke.
Wycombe nearly took the lead when Pierre latched on to another cross into the area, but this time his header went just over the bar.
After the break, the home side threatened again when Sam Wood lifted a cross into the area which found the head of Dean Morgan, but his header clipped the post and went wide.
Matt McClure came close to handing his side the lead, but his header from Matt Bloomfield's whipped ball in from the right went over the bar.
Both sides tried to press for a late winner, and Wycombe came the closest when Max Kretzschmar hit the bar from a late free kick, and Morgan turned in the rebound only to be flagged offside.
