Midfielder Adam Reed has joined York City until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old arrives at York from League Two rivals Burton Albion after making just seven first-team appearances for the Brewers this season.
While on the books of Sunderland, Reed spent a month on loan at Bootham Crescent last season, scoring twice in six games for the Ministermen.
Reed has plenty of Football League experience, having also been loaned out to Portsmouth, Leyton Orient, Bradford City and Brentford.
