York City have completed the signing of former Scunthorpe United defender Eddie Nolan.
The 26-year-old, who was released by The Iron at the end of last season, has penned a one-year contract at Bootham Crescent.
Nolan made over 120 appearances during a four-year spell with Scunthorpe.
The full-back's former clubs include Blackburn Rovers, Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday.
York start the new League Two campaign with a trip to Wycombe Wanderers on August 8.
