Striker Richard Cresswell has signed for York City on a one-year deal.
The 35-year-old was released by Sheffield United at the end of last season after scoring 41 goals in 130 appearances over a three-year spell with the Blades.
The Yorkshire-born forward is returning to Bootham Crescent for the third time, after beginning his career at the Minstermen.
Cresswell also ended last season with York, playing five matches as the club finished their League Two campaign in 17th position.
