Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali thinks that keeping a cool head must remain a priority as Fernando Alonso battles Sebastian Vettel for the world championship.

Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali has urged his team to stay "very, very, cool" as the World Championship goes down to the final four races.

Domenicali watched Fernando Alonso lose his championship lead to Sebastian Vettel at the Korean Grand Prix as the German claimed his third successive race win.

Alonso had to settle for third place behind Vettel and Mark Webber but insisted after the race that he was happy with his performance.

Ferrari boss Domenicali told Sky Sports News that he expects the fight for both the drivers' and constructors' titles to be closely fought.

He said: "The Championship is very, very long. I don't want to hear anything on the Championship because it will be a very tough and sporting challenge and a fight right up until the end. Of that, I'm pretty sure.

"And today in the race, they had a different pace with problems we don't know. Things can turn up in a different way very quickly.

"Let's see what is going to happen at the end, we need to stay very, very cool until the end."

The drivers' championship is now a two-horse race between Alonso and Vettel, with the Spaniard trailing the defending champion by just six points.
