Lotus chairman Gerard Lopez has set his drivers the target of finishing fourth in the constructors' championship for the 2012 season.
In the last campaign Lotus managed to finish fifth in the standings, although they were a long way behind fourth-placed Mercedes.
However, Lopez believes that the top four is a "reasonable" target this time around.
"We're trying to bring the car up to the front of the pack. We are trying to aim for fourth as a reasonable goal for this season," Lopez said.
Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean will be Lotus's two drivers for the upcoming season.
