Jenson Button has said that he and his McLaren teammate Lewis Hamilton are determined to finish ahead of Ferrari duo Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa at the Brazilian Grand Prix this weekend.
Button finished fifth at the United States Grand Prix, while Hamilton won the race at the Circuit of the Americas.
"We took eight points off [Ferrari] in Austin, so we need to almost double that in Brazil, and I think we can do it if we both have a perfect weekend," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"That has to be our aim for the end of the year. You always want to get one over on Ferrari. You want to finish in front of them, that's the way it is."
McLaren are currently third in the constructors' championship behind Red Bull and Ferrari.
