McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton has clocked the fastest time in the first practice of the Canadian Grand Prix.
The British driver, who has yet to claim a victory this season, finished the circuit 0.118 seconds faster than Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel, with Nico Rosberg setting the third fastest.
While Hamilton's first practice was a success, his McLaren teammate Jenson Button could only claim the 10th fastest time after problems with the clutch, which required attention from his team.
The 2009 world champion could only complete around half of the laps of his competitors, which adds to the woes of Button, who has only scored two points in the past three races.
