Lewis Hamilton has said that remarks by Red Bull team principal Christian Horner regarding Jenson Button being a bigger threat "do not wind [him] up".
Button beat his McLaren teammate by 43 points in last year's Drivers Championship, prompting Horner to identify him as Sebastian Vettel's biggest threat this season.
However, Hamilton has said that Horner's opinion does not bother him.
"It's the first time I've heard of [the remarks] but they definitely don't wind me up," said Hamilton.
"There are a lot of opinions, and everybody has their right to an opinion, but it doesn't really affect me. It doesn't really matter, at the end of the day when I go out and do the job."
The season's first Grand Prix takes place in Melbourne this Sunday.
